What is Black hole?

What is Black Hole ?
A black hole is a region in the space-time where the gravitational force is so great that even light can't escape from it.
Human beings were always curious to know about the celestial bodies and the outer space since ancient times. Through advance technologies, we are now able to know various facts about space. Black hole is a afterstage of a neutron star. But, it is not necessary that every neutron will become a blackhole. If the initial mass of a neutron star is three times the mass of the Sun then it will become a black hole.
Creation of a Black hole by a Neutron star
As mentioned above, if if the initial mass of a neutron star is three times the mass of the sun, then the force of gravity is so strong that the entire mass of the neutron star is compressed into single point particle of infinite density. The Infinite dense particle pulls everything within a few kilometres of it and traps it forever.
Does a Black hole lasts forever ?
Well, this is an interesting question. A Black holes does not lasts forever. Yeah! it's true. A black hole may increase its size by "eating up" nearby stars and other celestial bodies. But, it dies (evaporated) by emitting 'Hawking Radiation'. Well, this may take very long time depending upon the size and mass of the black hole. You may not believe, but this 'time' is even greater than 100100 years for a supermassive Black hole i.e., far more than the age of the universe. However, some smaller black holes have the age of 2×10 67 years.
What's inside a Black hole ?
What is inside a black hole is still a mystery as we don't know much about it. We can find information regarding anything by observing that thing or the things on which it has its influence. Considering a black hole, we know about its characteristics or behaviour by observing its surrounding objects on which a black hole has its influence. We may observe the region of Event Horizon but not the core of a black hole. Some theories claims that a black hole may lead us to an other realm or it may show us another reality. What's the truth, no one knows.
Some important terms and their definition:-
-Neutron Star
A neutron star is the collapsed core of a giant star which before collapse had a total mass of between 10 and 29 solar masses.
-Event Horizon
It is a notional boundary around a black hole beyond which no light or other radiation can escape.
-Hawking Radiation
It's an electromagnetic radiation which, according to theory, should be emitted by a black hole. The radiation is due to the black hole capturing one of a particle-antiparticle pair created spontaneously near to the event horizon.
